Ed is the founding principal of Carey Insurance LLC. Prior to that, he was president of CIP Capital Management, Inc., a $36 million technology-based private equity fund. Ed received his core experience as a CPA and manager in the accounting and auditing department of Mathieson Aitken Jemison, LLP, a regional public accounting firm. He primarily served privately-held companies with up to $100 million in revenue in the real estate development, publishing, insurance, architectural, construction, and manufacturing industries. In addition, he has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning.

Ed is a graduate of William Tennent High School and earned a B.B.A. from Temple University in business management and accounting with a minor in economics.

Ed specializes in commercial insurance utilizing his financial experience to help his clients achieve their financial, growth, and operational goals. Many of Ed’s clients consider him a trusted advisor and friend, whom they can count on for direct answers and doing the right thing.

A lifelong resident of Bucks County, Ed is a U.S. Army veteran and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, exploring our national parks, spending time with his dog Pepper, hiking, fly fishing, playing ice hockey, and golfing.
